As a Cut and Crease Minder, you will play a crucial role in the efficiency and quality of production, utilizing your expertise with autoplaten Cut & Crease machines to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You must be prepared to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes nights, ensuring operational continuity and meeting production targets.

  • Prepare and operate Cut & Crease machines efficiently while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks, including data entry into the business information management systems.
  • Repair and amend tooling and dies as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues, or communicate them to the appropriate team members as per departmental procedures.
  • Conduct quality checks in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of machines, tools, auxiliary equipment, and the work area.
  • Notify the supervisor of any consumable stock needs.
  • Utilize relevant equipment for material preparation.
  • Assist in training Cut & Crease apprentices and assistants.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with business management system requirements and certification mandates.
  • Proven experience in operating autoplaten Cut & Crease machines.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
