Kingdom People Kent is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Label Assistant to join our esteemed client, a prominent leader in the soft fruit industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the critical task of printing and verifying labels using DataGuard and Vector software while ensuring compliance with both Extranet and Intranet information. This position plays a vital role in upholding product safety, legality, authenticity, and quality standards, all while embodying the core values of passion, humility, and trustworthiness. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review Daily Label Production Check Forms to ensure accurate label printing.
- Understand printer specifications, focusing on tray ends and produce labels.
- Differentiate between on-line and off-line printing processes.
- Gain a full understanding of customer packaging requirements, including the use of back sheets, approval cubes, and grower codes.
- Check printed labels and films against specific customer requirements.
- Maintain clear verbal and written communication with departments.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
- Report any labeling issues to management promptly for investigation.
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required.
Successful Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in a comparable role, preferably within the soft fruit industry.
- Resourcefulness in addressing business needs and challenges effectively.
- Ability to relate professionally and credibly with key client personnel.
- Strong personal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with a diverse range of employees.
- Experience in collaborative teamwork across different professional, operational and cultural boundaries.
- Proactive with a prompt response to service requests.
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

This working hours will vary between 7am-9pm, and you must be available to work any 5 days out of the 7 day week. The hourly pay rate is £12.12 per hour
Due to the companies remote location - own transportation is essential.
